Step 1: Add Your Debts

The first step is to list all of your current debts. Our tool is 100% private, so this information is only saved to your browser and never seen by us.

1. Fill in the **Debt Name/Due Date**, **Current Balance**, **Interest Rate (APR)**, and **Minimum Monthly Payment**.
2. Click the **"Add Debt"** button.
3. Repeat this for all your debts. The free version allows up to 5 debts.

Step 2: Create Your Payoff Plan

Once your debts are listed, you're ready to create your plan.

1. Choose your preferred strategy: **Debt Snowball** (for motivation) or **Debt Avalanche** (to save the most on interest). Both are free to use.
2. Set your **Total Monthly Payment** budget. This is the total amount you can afford to put towards all your debts each month.
3. Click the **"Calculate Plan"** button.

Step 3: Track Your Progress

Staying motivated is key! Our tool includes interactive progress tracking to help you celebrate your wins.

• **Mark a Debt as Paid Off:** When you completely pay off a debt, click the **✓** in the main debt list to get that satisfying "PAID!" badge. The tool will automatically roll that debt's payment into your snowball.
• **Track Monthly Payments:** In your payment schedule, click the **"Mark Paid"** button for each month you complete to create a visual record of your journey.
